We host a wide variety of curling leagues, including a Junior program numbering close to 150 children. In the summer our concrete arena is covered with many exercise and weight machines, sprint tracks and hockey gear to accommodate the Premier Strength and Conditioning Camp for Alberta and Saskatchewan's finest young hockey players.
Upstairs, our well-equipped lounge seats 135 people, comfortably. Suitable for Christmas parties or even small weddings, office functions, crib tournaments or cocktail parties, the room includes a sound system, large and small screen televisions, pool table and a full bar. There is a fully equipped kitchen upstairs also. The kitchen is a benefit for catering to all functions and our in-house staff can cater any party.
Off-street parking is plentiful, and the club is bounded on two sides by parkland and ravine walking trails.

Keith brings 25 years experience with him and is called one of Albertas premier Ice Makers by some of our provinces top curlers.
Keith is a real family man raising 5 children, all who are on their way to becoming respectable curlers and a couple of whom are learning the ice trade.
Keith is friendly, approachable and extremely knowledgeable about ice and the sport of curling. We know that he is going to fit in well with our management, our staff and, most importantly, with you, our curlers.
We know that the Shamrock has struggled with our ice over the past 2-3 years but Keith and I have worked hard to come to a suitable contract so that he can make his presence felt at our Club. The Board and I know that this will result in the Shamrock having some of the best ice in Edmonton for the coming season and for seasons to come. Keith will be at our opening Registration Night ? complimentary wine and cheese (and beer) - Wednesday, September 14 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and we welcome you to come out and meet Keith and talk about his ice and our Club.

Coaches Required
The Shamrock requires two or three certified coaches (we will pay to have coaches certified) for our Saturday morning Junior program. We pay a weekly honorarium to our coaches and opportunities exist to coach Saturday and Sunday afternoons for our corporate special events. Contact Garry at the Club at 780. 466-5789.
The Shamrock Ladies Tuesday Morning Curling Club is accepting new members for the 2011-2012 season
Our ice time is 9:15 to 11:15 AM Tuesday mornings beginning on October 11/11 and for 21 days until March13/12. We are a fun league and have been so for 51 years! Our organizational meeting is at the Shamrock Curling Club on Tuesday, Sepember 20/11 at 9:30 am. Come and have a coffee, meet the curlers, join a team and start sweeping.
