Updated Notice (Nov. 27/20): The Province of Alberta has banned sport within our region until December 18th, 2020. As a result, the Shamrock Curling Club has decided to shut down operations until January, 2021. Our hope is that our collective numbers improve in our region so that we will be permitted to re-open in January. If so, we will extend our season into April in order to make-up lost games. Further updates will be posted as information arises.
Shamrock's COVID Response Guiding Philosophy:
βThe Shamrock is committed to the positive well-being of all members of the Shamrock community. The Shamrock has aligned its COVID-19 Response with updated AHS Guidelines and recommendations from our sport partner associations, Curling Canada and Curling Alberta. We agree with our sport partner associations that βit is entirely possible for people to continue to curl in a manner that is physically distant and low-risk, while still enjoying the positive social and physical benefits of the sport.ββ
